Anybody got any word on the weeds in the surf? Looking to hit the beach this week and am really hoping it’s cleared out a bit.

It’s still been hit or miss for slimy weeds in the surf… Your best bet is to try outgoing tide, and check out the water before you set up base.

Weeds have been not too bad fishing the bottom for red snapper this weekend, but trolling is a whole different animal. Hopefully it gets better before the Kingfish tourney in a few weeks.
